Badminton World Ranking released: Saina & Sindhu Listed in Top-10.

After continuing her winning in India Grand Prix Gold at Syed Modi International tournament in Lucknow, Olympic Bronze medal winner, Saina Nehwal rises to position 7 in the Latest Badminton World Federation women’s single ranking. The ranking list of all badminton players was released on Thursday.

Saina Nehwal jumped two places to No. 7 overtook the position of German Juliane Schenk and Chinese Taipei Tai Tzu Ying. The 23 years old, Saina has shown their capability, tremendous performance and badminton capability after 15-months title drought in Lucknow. From their performance in Grand Prix Gold event in Lucknow, Saina bagged 7000 ranking points and has 59680 points from 14 tournaments.

On the other hand, PV Sindhu again reaches to the top-10 position of World Badminton ranking. PV Sindhu, who finished runners-up at that tournament after losing the final to Saina, also broke back into the top 10 with 55752 ranking points. She accumulated 5950 focuses from her second-place complete at Syed Modi International competition in Lucknow.

Rising men’s singles player, K Srikanth, who also finished runners-up at Lucknow, made a massive jump of 10 places to break into the top-20. He is as of now the second highest ranking men’s shuttler behind Parupalli Kashyap, who is at eighteenth spot.

Ajay Jayaram slipped one spot to 22 ranking, while RMV Gurusaidutt enhanced one spot to be at 28th position in the most recent BWF ranking. On other hand H S Prannoy, additionally moved 10 spots to 39th position, while B Sai Praneeth, zoomed 14 spots to 45th spot. Around others, Sourabh Varma was at the 50th spot in the wake of enhancing seven steps in ranking.
