Hero MotoCorp sales rise by 14.4 pct y/y in April 2014

On Thursday, India’s one of the biggest two – wheeler manufacturer Hero Moto Corp has announced its sales rise by 14.4 percent in April Month. Two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) today reported a 14.4 per cent jump year-on-year in its total sales of 5,71,054 units in April 2014.

The organization had sold 4,99,113 vehicles throughout the relating month a year ago. ”The sales of in excess of 5.71 lakh units in April is the result of an arrangement of activities that we have attempted in the past few months, including energizing new propels,” organization senior vice president (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said.

This is the most noteworthy ever non – festive season month to month deals for Hero Motocorp, surpassing the past most elevated of 5,57,890 units sold in May a year ago, the organization said in a discharge. Mr Dua said Splendor iSmart with i3s engineering has made a prompt effect in the business, including ”we are quick increase handling to take care of the developing business sector demand for this new bike”.

In April, HMCL is going to launch its operations in Bangladesh through a Joint Venture (JV) with Nitol Niloy Group. Through this JV, Hero will set up its initial bike assembling plant outside of India. The plant is required to be operational by the second quarter of FY 2015-16.
