Nowadays the increasing rate of average weight of people is a worldwide health issue, which leads to the decrease in the health and fitness level. Obesity is a major problem which is increasing day by day. There are various reasons behind it. This article will discuss the cause of these and often some solutions.
The major cause of increase in the weight of average people is easily available junk food in the market. Nowadays people, mostly children are fond of burgers, pizzas, noodles and coke. This type of food is easily available to them in school canteens. In school or college, students love to purchase chips, burgers and ice-cream for lunch. These food are high in calories and making children obese. In this modern era, parents are working and do not have any time to cook. Parents like to buy food instead to cook for dinner at home. Another cause of obese is sedentary lifestyle; people are using more of computers and television. People spend most of the time watching television or playing games on play station and on computers.
The solutions which I would like to suggest would be, there should a classes in school in which children should teach how to make healthy food for themselves. School should taught there students, high calories food make people obese and fat, so this junk food or high calories food can be replaced by milk, eggs and juice. People should be encouraged to do physical exercises. People should go to park for a walk and to play with their friends. Schools can also add sports in their curriculum to keep their students fit and healthy. There are so many health clubs and sports club are opened by the government and private sector, people should join them to maintain physical fitness or can go to gym.
At last I contend that, the main cause of increase in the average weight of people is excessive consumption of unhealthy foods with practically no physical activity. This cause can be treated by healthy eating habits and physical exercise to be physically and mentally fit.
