Sania – Tecau Lose in Australian Open Mixed Doubles finals.

On Sunday, Indian tennis player Sania Mirza lose their final match with her Romanian partner Horia Tecau in Australian Open Mixed doubles that held in Melbourne park. Before this match, the pair of Sania – Tecau defeated the Australian pair of Jarmila Gajdosava & Matthew Ebden by 2-6, 6-3, 10-2 in a match that lasting an hour & 13 minutes.

In the final match of Australian Open Mixed doubles, the pair of Canadian tennis player Daniel Nestor and France tennis player Kristina Mladenovic win the champions title with a 6-3, 6-2 over sixth-seeded Sania -Tecau . The pair of Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic already won the Wimbledon Mixed Doubles title last year. They fended off all five break points they faced and defeat the Mirza-Tecau pair four times in just 58-minute match.

The French-Canadian tennis player combination was plainly the better side in all divisions of the match. Sania and Tecau, seeded sixth in the competition, couldn’t match up their rivals in service, return and encourages however they had lesser number of unforced mistakes.

Mirza, who won the 2009 Australian Open and 2012 French Open mixed doubles titles on top of Indian co – tennis partner Mahesh Bhupathi and Tecau were vanquished in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon a year ago, by Nestor and Mladenovic, who happened to win the crown.

After lose in Australian Open Mixed Doubles Sania Said that she will try for more Grand Slam mixed doubles titles with Romanian Horia Tecau. She said,” It’s a good start to the year, I can’t complain. I’ve had a decent week and we had a really good week in mixed and we’re looking forward to the rest of the year. It’s a good start to the year.”

On the other hand winning team player Neston said,” As a partner Kristin is best mixed double player. She really helps me out on court. After having KiKI, I actually have to cover less of the court, which is perfect for me, because I’m so old.”

In their successful tennis carrier, Daniel Nestor has won all 4 popular in men’s double matches. This title was Nestor’s second victory. He already won the title at Melbourne park in year 2007.
