Yes, I am a beggar.

Its 4 in the morning.  Life is still and stagnant as it was yesterday. People are coming and going, chanting their gods’ name the earliest second seeking wisdom and good life ahead because it’s by virtue he is above all.
I guess they already have the life everyone should have, the comfort of warmth on a dark, cold winter night and the breeze so cold touching your face on a sweltering summer day. My home never changed in years, young I was whence left in this gurudwara, thenceforth I breathe here each day is a replica of the day before. Even the second seems same. Perplexed I am when morning change into stats and stars into the breaking dawn. The only different thing I get to see here is the holy people coming here daily. Although I never try recognizing them but my sense says they all are different from me. If not from another then surely different from me. I get my morning tea here of course with no cost for I have nothing to offer at gods place. I even get my meals here and that then I feel a little normal sitting with the crowd. For god has given them life and life which is worthy living. I see dogs sitting around me, guess they are the only living creatures who can decipher my mind and read my heart. My eyes get wet sometimes, I gaze at a still thing for long hours, time moves by but I remain the same. People come and go but I stay here for the reason I have nowhere to go. As a fact for a life to be lived, shelter, food and water are the basic things. These mandatory things I have, but do I have a life?
Yes, I am a beggar and unlike all I don’t have I life, nevertheless I have to live it till I die. . .
